England captain David Beckham is doubtful for Real Madrid's Champions League game against Juventus after suffering a back problem.
Although Beckham played in Real's 1-1 draw against Valencia, he came off in the second half and afterwards revealed that he was not fully fit.
"I woke up on Saturday morning and could feel my back," said Beckham.
"I had to have a lot of work and injections on it before the game. It hasn't really responded."
Nevertheless Beckham was looking forward to returning to Turin as Madrid hope to defend their 1-0 lead from the first leg.
"We have to go there and be confident and to want to win the game," said Beckham.
"We can't go there looking for a draw, because we are only 1-0 up. The last time I went there with Manchester United it was an exciting game."
Beckham was satisfied with the draw in Valencia, even though Barcelona's win against Osasuna saw Madrid drop eight points off the pace at the top of the Primera Liga.
"It's not a frustrating draw for us. You come to a place like Valencia and
it's a tough game.
"It's comforting to know that Barcelona have still to come here and will need to win as well."
