Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho paid tribute to Frank Lampard after his goal earned them a 1-0 Champions League victory over Anderlecht.
Lampard's form has been under scrutiny but Mourinho said: "Frank isn't worried about the criticism.
"He has scored more goals than he did at this time last season - he has three now. His performances are good.
"I have to rely on my judgement on the performances I see with Chelsea and I'm very happy with Frank Lampard."

Anderlecht made it hard for us

Mourinho added: "In the first half we played very well. They couldn't get through our midfield and we played some very good football.
"In the second half we waited for them and waited for them but they never came.
"They didn't do it and we have to be realistic. In the last 10 minutes they had a go and put some pressure on us.
"But we were always very comfortable. They had one shot and hit the post. Otherwise I can't remember one single shot at my goal. The result is justified."
Lampard said was happy after his goal gave them a 1-0 win over Anderlecht.
"Anderlecht made it hard for us," said Lampard. "We started well but they sat back to stop us cutting through them.
"One-nil is a funny result - you are always on edge in case they break away but we set out to get three points and that is what we got.
"We have not hit top form yet but we did not last year but when you look at our scores that is not a bad thing."
