Juve striker David Trezeguet had the ball in the net in the first half but his goal was ruled out for offside.
Patrick Vieira - who joined Juve from Arsenal in the summer - struck the post with a header in the 57th minute.

Juventus coach Fabio Capello introduced forward duo Adrian Mutu and Marcelo Zalayeta after his team fell behind but Inter held on.
"Inter had two chances and scored one goal, while we were unable to take advantage of ours," said Capello.
"Juventus played well and produced good soccer but we must accept the response of the field."
Inter coach Roberto Mancini said: "It was a tough match and my players were almost exhausted in extra-time."
