FC Copenhagen have European pedigree
Carmarthen face an uphill struggle to keep their Uefa Cup hopes alive after losing to FC Copenhagen in a first leg, second qualifying round tie.

Mark Dodds almost gave the visitors a surprise lead but was denied by keeper Jesper Christiansen's diving save.

Copenhagen improved after the break and Alvaro Dos Santos scored from close range after a flick-on by former Aston Villa striker Marcus Allback.

A powerful Michael Gravgaard header completed Copenhagen's win.
