Lazio have ended winger Sergio Conceicao's contract by mutual consent.
Conceicao is keen to make Euro 2004 with Portugal
The 29-year-old Portuguese player was in his second stint with the Rome club.
He was part of Sven Goran Eriksson's
Serie A-winning squad during the 1999-2000 season.
After spells at Parma and Inter Milan he returned to Lazio at the beginning of this season on a one-year deal.
The fans gave him a warm reception, but he quickly faded after a series of poor performances led to him losing his first-team spot.
Leaving Lazio gives him the opportunity to look for a regular start at another club as he pushes for a place in Portugal's squad for the European Championship later this year.
