Laslandes failed to make an impact at Sunderland

French club Nice have confirmed that they have signed striker Lilian Laslandes on a free transfer from Sunderland.
Laslandes, 32, has signed a two-year contract with the French First Division club after he agreed to cancel the remaining two years left on his deal with Sunderland.
Laslandes moved to the Stadium of Light in 2001 from Bordeaux for £3.6m.
He failed to make an impression there and was loaned to German side Cologne in January 2002 for six months.
Laslandes went to join French outfit Bastia for the 2002-03 campaign, during which he scored eight times in 30 matches.
