Cisse targets Premiership
Djibril Cisse
Cisse has spoken to several Arsenal players
French striker Djibril Cisse has sent a come-and-get-me message to Premiership clubs.

Cisse, 21, has been linked to Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United and believes the English style of play would suit his game.

He was the top scorer in the French league for the 2001-2002 season with Auxerre, where he is under contract until June 2007.

I spoke about it with Sylvain Wiltord, Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira and it sounds like paradise there

Cisse on the Premiership

"It is the English Premiership that attracts me the most, simply because this is where the heart of European football is beating, where it vibrates the most," Cisse told France Football.

"And I want to experience the atmosphere and the warmth of English stadiums.

"The Premiership is everything for me, the English style attracts me and I think that is the one that corresponds to me the most.

"There are spaces and the game is direct. For a striker like me who is fast, for my profile, this is perfect. I am an instinctive player.

"I spoke about it with Sylvain Wiltord, Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira and it sounds like paradise there."
