Injury ends Unai's season
Villarreal's Spanish international Unai Bergara
Unai: Out of action for at least two months
Spain defender Unai Bergara has been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery for a groin injury.

The international, who made his debut in the 3-0 defeat against England in February, is expected to be out of action for at least two months.

Unai, who plays for Spanish side Villarreal, said: "Surgery was the best option in order to deal with the root cause of the injury.

"The operation went well and I am keen to make a quick recovery."

He will now miss Spain's World Cup qualifiers against Bosnia and Israel in June and the friendly against Japan at the end of April.
