AC Milan sign Kaladze
Kahka Kaladze
Kahka Kaladze wil team up with Andriy Shevchenko at AC Milan
Dynamo Kiev have sold Georgian international defender Kahka Kaladze to AC Milan for an undisclosed sum, according to the Ukrainian club.

AC Milan's website had said that the two clubs were close to reaching an agreement on the signing.

"Both clubs signed an agreement on Kakha Kaladze's transfer to Italy's AC Milan," said a spokesman for Dynamo Kiev.

The official said Kaladze was already in Milan for medical checks.

Dynamo agreed to the transfer because Kaladze had made clear he wanted to leave, denting the team's morale, he said.

Kaladze signed a four-year deal with Dynamo in 1997 and featured in Dynamo's Champions League 1-1 draw with Arsenal at Wembley in 1998.

The Georgian joins former team mate Andriy Shevchenko at AC Milan.
