The first match in the above table is not rcognised as a full international by the Greek Federation. The first official match agaianst Sweden recognised by the Greeks took place on 23 September 1981 in Salonika and was won 2-1 by Greece. This also means that the Greek FA do not consider that they have ever lost against Sweden and that the matches between them with the most goals are two 2-2 draws (17 April 1991 in Athens and 13 February 202 in Salonika).
