Promising young keeper Andreas Isaksson seized his chance after an injury to Magnus Hedman, playing all but one of Sweden's Euro 2004 qualifiers.
Club: Djurgardens IF
Debut: 27/03/02 v Switzerland
After making just 10 appearances for Trelleborgs, he joined Juventus in 2000 but never made an appearance for the Italian giants during his spell in Turin.
Isaksson has impressed since returning to Sweden in 2001 with Djurgardens IF, helping his side to league titles in 2002 and 2003.
Voted his country's outstanding goalkeeper in 2003, Isaksson is a great shot-stopper who commands his area well despite his relative inexperience.
Isaksson let in just three goals during qualifying while his rival Hedman, out-of-favour with Celtic, watched from the bench.
The 22-year-old's performances in Portugal will be closely watched by scouts from Europe's top clubs.
Did you know? Isaksson shares a birthday with Sweden team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
