Southampton defender Michael Svensson has been forced to pull out of the Swedish squad for Euro 2004 because of a knee injury.
Long-term injury has ended Svensson's hopes
He had been struggling with the problem for five weeks and was also short of match fitness as he had previously suffered from a calf injury.
Coaches Lars Lagerback and Tommy Soderberg have drafted in Hammarby's
Alexander Ostlund to replace him.
