Midfielder Frank Lampard believes England have a great chance of winning the European Championship after their impressive 6-1 thrashing of Iceland.
Lampard scored his second international goal in the win and says too much was made of Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Japan.
"We are a good team with some good players and we have to believe in ourselves. We do think we can win the tournament," said Lampard.
"I look around the dressing room and there are some world-class players."
Having started England's last two games, Lampard appears certain to play in the match against France on 13 June - but the Chelsea man is not taking anything for granted.

He added: "It's nice to be in the squad, even nicer to start.
"I'm not sure if I'll be starting against France but I guess I cannot have done my chances any harm by scoring against Iceland."
Everton teenager Wayne Rooney netted twice at the City of Manchester Stadium and he agrees with Lampard about their chances of success.
"Scoring for your country is always special but to get two goals a week before the Euro 2004 finals is a great feeling," said Rooney.
"I thought we showed that we have the ability and desire to do well in Portugal this summer."

Strike partner Michael Owen thinks Rooney's brilliant double will boost his confidence in the run up to the tournament.
Owen said: "I thought Wayne did really well with his goals.
"They were two great finishes and I think it is important for strikers to score in the warm-up matches because we need confidence more than anyone."
Meanwhile, Lampard and Jamie Carragher have backed Paul Scholes to figure prominently in Portugal, despite his three-year international goal drought.
"Paul Scholes is a world class player. He should not just be judged on his goals," said Lampard.
Carragher added: "He's always been a top-class player. You only have to watch him in training. He is the best player in training every day.
"Paul is going through a bit of a drought by his own standards but I'm sure it will come good for him in the end."
