Clockwatch: Greece 1-0 Czech Rep

All the action as it happened from the second semi-final in Porto.

Goalflashes and major incidents:

FULL-TIME: The Czechs barely get a chance to respond as the whistle goes bringing an end to the first half of extra-time and underdogs Greece go through to the final on the silver goal rule. They will face hosts Portugal in Sunday's final.

105 mins: GOAL - Greece 1-0 Czech Republic
Greece grab a dramatic winner in the dying seconds of the first period of extra time when Tsiartas' corner is glanced home off the head of Dellas, giving Cech no chance.

103 mins: From the free-kick Dellas has a free header but Cech again comes to his side's rescue to block well.

101 mins: A frustrated Baros gets a yellow card for a clumsy challenge on Fyssas.

97 mins: Baros picks out Koller with a pinpoint cross but Kapsis does well to climb high and get enough on the ball to put it out for a corner.

94 mins: Giannakopoulous has two good chances inside a minute to put Greece in the driving seat. Cech comes out to block a header after he was set up by Charisteas and then Giannakopoulous is just closed down as he has a good shooting opportunity.

91 mins: Extra-time gets under way in Porto with Greece bringing on Tsiartas for Vryzas.

FULL-TIME: The semi-final will now go to extra-time, with the silver goal rule applying. If a side is ahead after the first 15-minute period they will go through, if not we will play another 15 minutes of extra-time. If the tie is still level we will go to a penalty shoot-out.

90 (+1) mins: The full-time whistle goes to bring an end to normal play, with neither side able to break the deadlock.

90 mins: Jankulovski drills in a testing cross that is just taken off the head of Koller by Kapsis as the Czechs press for a late winner.

87 mins: Karagounis goes in late on Smicer and he is shown a yellow card - meaning he will be suspended for the final if Greece progress.

84 mins: Baros has a good chance to add to his goal tally when he cuts inside Kapsis, but the Greek defence gets back well to put pressure on the Liverpool forward and he fires wide.

83 mins: A Greece attacks breaks down and Jankulovski has space on the left. His cross finds Poborsky at the back post and he does well to head the ball across the face of the goal but out of Koller's reach.

80 mins: A fantastic burst of pace from Rosicky takes him into the box and he exchanges passes with Koller. Rosicky slips the ball back into the path of Koller, but the big forward shoots wastes the best chance of the night by dragging his shot wide.

76 mins: Giannakopoulous' corner finds the head of Vryzas but he is unable to direct it on target. With less than a quarter of an hour left in the game, it could still go either way.

73 mins: Baros cuts inside Seitaridis and Fyssas before he is upended on the edge of the area. Jankulovski tries a shot from a difficult angle which is blocked and from the rebound Poborsky's shot is on target but straight at Nikopolidis.

71 mins: Greece make their first change with Stelios Giannakopoulous coming on for Basinas.

70 mins: Charisteas earns a booking for a foul on Ujfalusi.

63 mins: Cech comes out for a cross and fails to collect and the Chelsea keeper is fortunate to see Fyssas' header drift wide.

60 mins: The Czechs are back in control and Rosicky has time and space to shoot but he slices wide.

59 mins: Smicer earns the Czechs a corner and from Poborsky's centre Nikopolidis completely misjudges, but Baros gets in the way of Koller's free header and the Greeks escape.

57 mins: Greece give away another free-kick from in front of goal but Jankulovski's effort is straight at the wall.

56 mins: From the free-kick the Czechs counter-attack with Baros before he is brought down. Basinas is lucky not to go into the book and from the free-kick Poborsky shoots wide.

55 mins: Smicer brings down Seitaridis at full pace and earns himself a booking.

53 mins: Koller goes down in the box with Dellas appearing to have a hold of his shirt, but his penalty appeal is turned down.

50 mins: Karagounis tries an ambitious shot but it lacks pace and direction and is unable to test Cech.

48 mins: Galasek is booked for upending Charisteas.

46 mins: Italian referee Pierluigi Collina blows his whistle for the start of the second half - his final 45 minutes at a major tournament.

HALF-TIME The half-time whistle goes to bring to an end an intriguing 45 minutes of football. The Czech Republic have had the better of the chances but the Greeks have got better as the game has gone on and look far from overawed.

44 mins: Jankulovski tries an outrageous chip from long range that lands just over the bar.

39 mins: There is bad news for the Czech Republic as skipper Nedved is forced to leave the field, despite desperate attempts to run off his injury. He is replaced by Vladimir Smicer.

33 mins: The Czechs are back on the attack as a Rosicky cross is missed by Nedved and falls for Jankulovski, but his shot is brilliantly palmed away by Nikopolidis. There are worrying moments for the Czechs as Nedved stays down injured.

31 mins: The Czechs are struggling to get hold of the ball as Greece grow in confidence. Nedved looks to inspire his side with a driving run into the box that just runs away from him.

29 mins: Greece enjoy their best attacking moment of the game as Fyssas puts in a teasing cross that Vryzas and Charisteas are close to getting on the end of. Goalkeeper Cech almost makes a hash of collecting the cross.

26 mins: A Koller flick puts in Baros, but this time Seitaridis is there to put a foot in and concede a corner.

23 mins: Baros spins Seitaridis brilliantly and the defender has no choice but to bring him down on the edge of the area - earning himself a booking. Poborsky drives in the free-kick but fails to find a team-mate and the ball is cleared.

19 mins: A looping header from Koller almost causes a problem for Nikopolidis, but the keeper recovers to gather the ball after it hits the crossbar.

17 mins: Koller makes his presence felt in the box but Baros just fails to reach his lay off.

16 mins: Rosicky goes on a fine run that takes him into the box but he wastes the shooting opportunity and they have to settle for a corner.

14 mins: Greece begin to find their feet and Karagounis is seeing a lot of the ball. A strong run earns them a free-kick within striking distance. Karagounis takes it himself but the wall does its job.

10 mins: Karagounis tries an ambitious shot from well outside the box that is blocked and is no trouble for Cech.

7 mins: Greece are struggling to offer anything as an attacking force and look shell-shocked by the way the Czechs have started the game.

6 mins: From a short corner Jankulovski powers into the box and fires in a thunderbolt that Nikopolidis does well to block away.

5 mins: Nedved tries a shot which is deflected behind for a corner.

3 mins: Rosicky almost gives the Czech Republic a sensational start with a fantastic volley that smacks off the bar and comes back into play. Poborsky tries a shot from the rebound but mis-hits his effort.

1945 BST: Greece get the game under way in Porto.

Pre-match build-up:

It is a windy evening in Porto but this does not seem to be bothering the supporters weaving their way towards Estadio do Dragao.

The Czech and Greek fans have been mingling in Porto all day and many were here on Wednesday to watch Portugal beat Holland on the big screens dotted around the city.

But they are now firmly focused on the match, with the Czech supporters confident of victory.

Having won all their games, the Czech team are favourites but the Greek fans are seeking encouragement from their team's wins over Portugal and France.

The face painters have been out in force again and many fans are wrapped in flags and wearing team colours, with just about every Greek fan emblazoned in blue and white.

It is the last game of Euro 2004 in Porto and many locals appear to have tickets, keen to take their last chance to see a match at a tournament they have embraced with genuine enthusiasm and warmth.
