Eriksson managed Manchester City for one season in 2007/08
Sven-Goran Eriksson's agent admitted a return to the Premier League would interest the former England boss.
Eriksson has been linked with a move to Portsmouth, who are being taken over by billionaire Sulaiman Al Fahim.
However the Swede's agent Athole Still told BBC Radio 5 Live: "He doesn't like talking about a club when a manager is in place and neither do I.
"Without specifying Portsmouth, of course, he would be interested in a Premier League club with ambition."
Eriksson, 61, was linked with Portsmouth following Tony Adams' departure in February but was contracted to the Mexico national side at the time and Paul Hart was appointed caretaker manager at Fratton Park .
However, Eriksson - who led England to three major tournament quarter-finals during his six-year reign as national coach - was sacked a month later due to a disappointing start to their World Cup qualifying campaign.
