Brown's Hull claimed a stunning victory at The Emirates
Phil Brown, boss of newly-promoted Hull City, has been named Premier League manager of the month for September.
The top-flight newcomers bounced back from a 5-0 home defeat by Wigan to notch a 2-1 win at Newcastle United.
Brown's men took a valuable point from their home clash with Everton before claiming a famous 2-1 win at Arsenal.
The Emirates Stadium was left stunned as a 25-yard Geovanni strike and Daniel Cousin's header sealed a first home defeat of the season for the Gunners.
By the end of September, Brown had steered the Tigers to sixth place in the Premier League, having guided his side to victory in the Championship play-off final last May.
Hull are currently third in the table, having also claimed a 1-0 win at Tottenham last weekend.
