Arsenal make one change as they look for the win that would put them fourth, Robert Pires replacing the injured Freddie Ljungberg in midfield. FA Cup quarter-finalists Charlton hand Jason Euell his first start of the season, while Dennis Rommedahl, Jerome Thomas and Jonathan Spector return.

Manchester City give Bradley Wright-Phillips a first start of the season as Stuart Pearce rests a number of players, including Joey Barton, ahead of Monday's FA Cup quarter-final. Wigan are unchanged from the team that beat Sunderland at the Stadium of Light last week.

West Ham boss Alan Pardew rests six players ahead of the FA Cup quarter-final against City so Yaniv Katan, Clive Clarke, Christian Dailly, Teddy Sheringham and Bobby Zamora all start, while Jimmy Walker replaces the injured Shaka Hislop in goal. Portsmouth are unchanged.
