Costa Rican striker Paulo Wanchope is considering returning to England after receiving offers from three clubs.
The 29-year-old former Derby, West Ham and Manchester City player signed for Qatari champions Al Gharafafo in July.
But on Tuesday he told his website he was holding talks with the clubs and hoped to close a deal by next week.
"I'm very content about the opportunity that has opened up because my goal is to return to play in Europe and especially in England," Wanchope added.
