Martin Jol felt Tottenham's 1-1 draw with Arsenal was a missed opportunity to beat their north London rivals for the first time in six years.
He said: "We are disappointed, we thought after the first half this would be our day and we would win this match.
"We didn't play as well in the second half but if we had scored a second goal we could have finished them off and maybe even scored a third goal.
"When they scored it was a big blow to us and we had to settle for a draw."
Jol added: "I thought we dominated it up to half-time, but Arsenal are a very good side and if you don't get a second goal against them you can be punished.
"I don't know if I can blame Paul Robinson for the goal.
"Unless you are under pressure you catch a free-kick but he chose to punch it and unfortunately it only went as far as Robert Pires."
