Newcastle are going into the third of three very tough games after defeats against Fulham and Chelsea.
Newcastle battered Fulham for long periods but succumbed to succession of goals on the break.
They also had good chances in against Chelsea but came out on the losing side - and Graeme Souness' team might be feeling a little tired.
Man Utd boss Sir Alex Ferguson, on the other hand, was able to rest most of his team for the Carling Cup win against Crystal Palace.
