Middlesbrough 3-3 Leicester
Juninho opened the scoring for Boro
Boro scored twice in injury-time to snatch a point in a dramatic match.

Juninho put them ahead after a poor clearance by Ian Walker, who atoned by saving Joseph-Desire Job's penalty.

Paul Dickov appeared to use his hand to equalise and then put City ahead from close range before Marcus Bent hit the third after a Mark Schwarzer mistake.

Massimo Maccarone gave Boro hope when his shot flew in off Nicolas Dabizas before John Curtis tucked Gaizka Mendieta's cross into his own net.

Boro were without centre-half duo Gareth Southgate and Ugo Ehiogu, while Leicester brought in Steve Guppy, making his first start since returning to the Foxes on Thursday.

Boro were first to attack, although Job shot high and wide after showing good skill to create a shooting chance.

The home team did not have to wait long before they took the lead, albeit in fortuitous fashion.

Walker was clearly to blame, blasting a clearance against Job and seeing the ball rebound kindly for Juninho - making his 100th start for Boro - and the Brazilian made no mistake.

Leicester tried to come back, but the match became scrappy.

KEY MOMENTS
8 mins: Juninho slides home
42 mins: Job misses penalty
49 mins: Dickov equalises
65 mins: Dickov scores second
76 mins: Bent strikes
90 mins: Maccarone drills in
90 mins: Curtis' deflects in

Chances were at a premium, but the match came to life just before the interval.

If Walker was Leicester's villain early on, he made amends with three great saves in the final few minutes before half time.

First he tipped away Nikos Dabizas' attempted clearance then blocked Stewart Downing's flicked effort on the rebound.

As if that was not enough, he saved Job's weak 43nd-minute penalty, after Barry Knight judged that Dabizas had pushed the Cameroon striker in the box.

Leicester's James Scowcroft then saw a goalbound shot blocked by Danny Mills as the half ended in bright fashion.

The Foxes will have been buoyed by their finish to the first half, and were celebrating an equaliser within minutes of the restart.

Dickov was the scorer, although there was controversy, as the ball appeared to ricochet off his hand after Guppy's inswinging corner caused chaos in the Boro defence.

Boro were rocked by the goal, and the visitors took control.

And it was no surprise when they took the lead on 65 minutes, Dickov firing home from close range after Riccardo Scimeca's flick-on flew across goal.

The Scot's over-enthusiastic celebrations earned him a yellow card, but there were few worries on the Leicester bench as they looked to have sealed victory with a third.

Marcus Bent was the scorer, finishing left-footed from close range with the Boro defence showing alarming signs of disintegration.

But with Boro looking dead and buried, Maccarone offered a glimmer of hope with a powerful left-foot drive which flew into the net from the edge of the box.

And with Foxes' fans willing referee Knight to blow the final whistle, the unfortunate Curtis deflected a Gaizka Mendieta cross past Walker two minutes into injury time to complete an amazing Boro comeback.
