Chelsea duo win awards
Frank Lampard has been in fine form for Chelsea
Chelsea have landed both the Barclaycard manager and player of the month awards for September.

Claudio Ranieri has been rewarded for Chelsea's fine start to the season, which has taken them to the top of the Premiership.

And England midfield man Frank Lampard takes the players' award after a series of eye-catching performances alongside Ranieri's expensive summer imports.

Ranieri is the first Chelsea manager to win the award, while Lampard is the first Stamford Bridge star to be honoured since Gianfranco Zola in October 2002.

Chelsea travel to London neighbours Arsenal on Saturday aiming to record their first Premiership win at Highbury on their twelfth visit.
