Fulham 2-0 Leicester
Luis Boa Morte bagged a brace as Fulham made it an afternoon to forget for former boss Micky Adams.
The Portuguese winger scored either side of the break to take his tally to five goals in five Premiership games.
The home side could even afford to miss a first-half penalty as they moved up to fourth in the table.
Leicester remain in trouble after slipping to their fifth defeat in their first eight league games.
Fulham, seventh in the table at the start of the day, went into the game on a high after last week's 2-0 win at Blackburn.
Leicester, on the other hand, were keen to make amends for their 4-1 thumping at Old Trafford last time out.
But neither side looked convincing in the opening exchanges at Loftus Road.
It was only after the half-hour mark that the game started to come to life - and Boa Morte was fortunate to avoid punishment after kicking out at Frank Sinclair as the two tussled on the floor following a corner.
Boa Morte made the most of his lucky escape on 36 minutes, breaking the deadlock after some neat work by Steed Malbranque and Lee Clark.
Malbranque's shot cannoned back off the woodwork and Boa Morte stabbed the ball home from close range.
Fulham should have doubled their lead on 40 minutes when they were awarded a questionable penalty.

Referee Chris Foy felt Gerry Taggart had held down Luis Saha but the decision looked harsh.
Saha wanted to take the spotkick himself but became embroiled in a shoving match with fellow Frenchman Malbranque.
Midfielder Malbranque won the argument but saw his penalty saved by Walker, who guessed the right way by diving to his left.
Six minutes after the interval, the visitors came close to netting an equaliser.
Taggart flicked on a long throw from Alan Rogers but Marcus Bent's prod bobbled across the face of goal and just beyond the far post.
Leicester boss Micky Adams decided to throw caution to the wind in an attempt to rescue at least a point.
With 61 minutes gone, Les Ferdinand and Paul Dickov came on to join Bent and James Scowcroft in a four-man attack.
But it was Fulham who looked the most likely to score, with Malbranque and Saha both going close.
It was left to Boa Morte to seal the points for the home side.
He scored his second on 73 minutes when he fired home from six yards after his initial shot was blocked by Rogers.
