Team news: Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink injures himself in the warm-up so is replaced by youngster Carlton Cole. Boro have Ugo Ehiogu back for the injured Gareth Southgate. Robbie Elliott and Sylvain Distin make way for Andy O'Brien and Olivier Bernard in the Newcastle team at home to West Ham, who bring in Vladimir Labant and Jermain Defoe. Charlton are unchanged at home to Sunderland, who drop Patrick Mboma to the bench and give a first ever start to Thomas Butler. Leeds have Gary Kelly in for the suspended Danny Mills, with Alan Smith pushed up front alongside Robbie Fowler. Mart Poom returns in goal for relegated Derby. Bjarne Goldbaek keeps his place in the Fulham side, while Steve Marlet returns for Louis Saha. Leicester welcome back Alan Rogers from injury.
