Liverpool return to the top of the table courtesy of their 2-0 win over Charlton, but Arsenal stay well in touch with a fine 3-0 victory over Sunderland.

At the bottom, Derby and Ipswich lose at Chelsea and West Ham respectively, while Blackburn are also defeated at Leicester.

Bolton beat Aston Villa 3-2 to boost their hopes of avoiding relegation, and Fulham avoid a seventh straight Premiership loss by drawing 1-1 at Southampton.

Garry Flitcroft starts for Blackburn despite losing his appeal in the High Court against being named in a Sunday newspaper over affairs in his private life. Rovers are at Leicester, who bring in Jacob Laursen for Frank Sinclair.
