16:52 Blackburn's misery is compounded at Fulham as Craig Short is sent off in injury time for fouling Steve Marlet.
16:49 Liverpool cap a brilliant display, Emile Heskey stroking home his second goal after good work from substitute Nicolas Anelka.
16:49 Middlesbrough grab a late equaliser against Leeds through substitute Dean Windass. 16:44 Newcastle bring on teenager Jermaine Jenas for his debut.
16:38 With 10 minutes left Sunderland snatch the lead at Derby, Niall Quinn converting Michael Gray's cross.
Spurs 2-1 Leicester
16:29 Emile Heskey knocks the ball inside to Michael Owen who breaks into the Ipswich area and clips in Liverpool's fifth goal of the day.
16:28 Blackburn's problems deepen at Fulham, as Steve Marlet crosses for Steed Malbranque to score.
16:25 Chelsea equalise at Aston Villa with a sweeping move after Gianfranco Zola comes on as substitute. With his first touch he plays the ball through to Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who nods it down for Frank Lampard to sweep it into an empty net.
16:23 Tottenham double their advantage through Welsh wing-back Simon Davies.
16:21 Liverpool claim their fourth. John-Arne Riise breaks through the middle and plays in Steven Gerrard. The England midfielder crosses from the left and Michael Owen smacks the ball past Marshall.
Middlesbrough 1-2 Leeds
16:10 Middlesbrough equalise against Leeds in bizarre fashion. Paul Ince launches a speculative shot from long distance which looks to be heading straight at Nigel Martyn - but at the last minute it takes an outrageous bounce off a divot and somehow ends up in the back of the net.
16:10 Rampant Liverpool score their third. Danny Murphy's corner is headed firmly past Marshall by captain Sami Hyypia.
15:48 Newcastle have a great chance to re-establish their two-goal lead after Craig Bellamy is felled in the box by Claus Lundekvam and the referee points to the spot. Alan Shearer duly slams the penalty into the roof of the net. 15:47 Half-time at Portman Road, where Liverpool are in control with a 2-0 lead.
Ipswich 0-2 Liverpool
15:42 Southampton pull a goal back at Newcastle through Latvian striker Marian Pahars.
15:39 Bolton midfielder Ricardo Gardner puts Wanderers ahead against West Ham.
15:38 Tottenham put relegation-threatened Leicester in deeper trouble, as Steffen Iversen nods the ball into the danger zone and Darren Anderton spins before firing the ball past former Spurs keeper Ian Walker.
15:33 Fulham front pair Steve Marlet and Barry Hayles link up well to break through Blackburn's defence - and Hayles turns the ball home.
15:31 Newcastle double their lead, as Alan Shearer heads in at the far post from Nolberto Solano's corner for his 18th goal of the season.
15:30 Graham Taylor celebrates on the pitch as Aston Villa score their first goal since he took over as manager. A loose ball breaks to Paul Merson, who controls it on his chest before finishing in style.
15:27 Newcastle take the lead against Southampton, courtesy of a brilliant 35-yard free-kick from Laurent Robert.
15:21 Leeds frontmen Mark Viduka and Robbie Fowler exchange passes on the edge of the Middlesbrough area - and Eirik Bakke scores with a fine shot.
15:16 Liverpool's debutant Abel Xavier scores a goal just 16 minutes into his Reds career. Steven Gerrard crosses and Xavier's scuffed shot deflects off Ipswich defender Chris Makin and dribbles past the helpless Marshall. 15:15 Marshall scrambles Emile Heskey's shot aside as Liverpool continue to prss on. 15:03 Liverpool almost take the lead right at the start of their game at Ipswich - but goalkeeper Andy Marshall back-pedals furiously to tip Danny Murphy's chip over the bar. 15:00 GMT A minute's silence is held before kick-off at all eight Premiership games, in memory of Princess Margaret, who died on Saturday morning.
Team news: With Jamie Carragher injured, Abel Xavier makes his Liverpool debut at Ipswich, who name Alun Armstrong up front alongside in-form Marcus Bent. Aston Villa's new boss Graham Taylor names an unchanged side against Chelsea, with goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel still out with a finger injury. Rob Lee earns a swift debut for Derby against Sunderland, following his mid-week move from Newcastle. Eirik Bakke replaces suspended Lee Bowyer in the Leeds team for the trip to Middlesborough, who give a debut to Benito Carbone. Les Ferdinand returns to the Tottenham team against Leicester after missing the last four matches with a neck injury. But Teddy Sheringham, in danger of being suspended for the Worthington Cup final, is left on the bench. Leicester midfielder Muzzy Izzet is banned and is replaced by Jordan Stewart. Fit-again Rufus Brevett replaces Jon Harley at left-back for Fulham against Blackburn. Newcastle's new signing Jermaine Jenas, is named among the substitutes for the visit of Southampton, who are unchanged following the draw at Arsenal. Nigel Winterburn, Don Hutchison and Trevor Sinclair are all ruled out for West Ham against Bolton, but Frederic Kanoute returns up front.
