Team news:

Manchester United rest David Beckham again - he is not even in their squad at Middlesbrough. Roy Carroll replaces the injured Fabien Barthez in goal, while Ryan Giggs returns on the bench.

Boro make three changes: Carlos Marnelli, Hamilton Ricard and fit-again Robbie Stockdale are back at the expense of Allan Johnston, Szilard Nemeth and Colin Cooper.

Claudio Reyna makes his Sunderland debut at Southampton, who again have new striker Brett Ormerod on the bench.

Ravanelli out

Fabrizio Ravanelli is not in the Derby squad for the match at Everton, but the injury that keeps him out remains a mystery. Rams boss Colin Todd instead pairs Deon Burton with Malcolm Christie in attack.

Everton stick with Steve Watson up front but recall Niclas Alexandersson for Paul Gascoigne.

Blackburn skipper Garry Flitcroft returns to the Rovers line-up at Newcastle, who have Shola Ameobi in attack alongside Alan Shearer. Kieron Dyer is on the bench for the Magpies.

Les Ferdinand shakes off his ankle injury to face Fulham at White Hart Lane. The visitors bring in Sylvain Legwinski for Sean Davis.

West Ham recall Frederic Kanoute for Jermain Defoe at home to Arsenal, who have Martin Keown in defence and Sylvain Wiltord, Dennis Bergkamp and Thierry Henry in their starting XI.

Michael Ricketts is back for Bolton for their home game with Charlton, who are unchanged.
