Team news:

Bolton are forced into a late change when goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen is injured in the warm-up. Kevin Poole steps in, while Mike Whitlow, Paul Warhurst and Rod Wallace also return.

Paul Gascoigne returns to the Everton starting line-up at Bolton but Duncan Ferguson's anticipated return doesn't materialise. Steve Simonsen replaces Paul Gerrard in goal.

In-form strike duo Juan Pablo Angel and Darius Vassell leads Aston Villa's front line at Newcastle, who have Robert Lee back in midfield. Laurent Robert shrugs off 'flu to start for The Magpies.

Blackburn replace the injured Corrado Grabbi with Mark Hughes for the game at Southampton, while the Saints have two ex-Coventry players, Paul Williams and Paul Telfer, in their line-up.

At Upton Park, Fulham's Louis Saha comes in for Steve Marlet who is still injured, while West Ham bring in Laurent Courtois for Scott Minto.

Fabrizio Ravanelli returns to The Riverside with Derby, with Boro boss Steve McLaren also facing a former club in The Rams.
