Super Saha sets target
Louis Saha celebrates his goal against Manchester United
Saha has been an instant Premiership hit
Louis Saha has rounded off his first month of Premiership action by collecting the Barclaycard Player of the Month award for August.

Now the Fulham striker is intent on safeguarding his first-team place following the acquistion of record 11.5m signing Steve Marlet.

Saha is currently the number one frontman but knows he cannot afford to ease up with Marlet, Luis Boa Morte and Barry Hayles all vying for a striking berth in Jean Tigana's side.

"All four strikers are very competitive and we will fight for the two places," said Saha.

"It will be good competition during training, and we will improve every weekend.

Saha is optimistic that Fulham can have another good campaign after winning promotion last season but admits they won't have it all their own way.

"I know it will be a little bit harder," he said. "But if we have the same spirit and good chances again, we can improve and maybe I will score 15, which would be good."
