Coventry 0-1 Manchester City 51 mins Robbie Keane opens his goalscoring account for Leeds, firing home from the penalty spot after Middlesbrough's Curtis Fleming was harshly adjudged to have handled. Leeds 1-1 Middlesbrough. 50 mins Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink shoots against the Villa crossbar after a jinking run into the penalty area. 48 mins Arsenal survive further punishment at The Valley as Alex Manninger pulls off a fine save to keep out Shaun Bartlett's header. Leicester's problems continue at Filbert Street as goalkeeper Tim Flowers is substituted at half time. Simon Royce replaces him. 45 mins Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink cashes in on a David James howler to put Chelsea in front against Aston Villa. James fires a clearance straight at the striker, whose deflected effort is ruled to have crossed the line despite Gareth Southgate's efforts to clear. Chelsea 1-0 Aston Villa 39 mins Jonatan Johansson breaks the deadlock at The Valley, heading home from a Graham Stuart cross to put Charlton ahead against Arsenal. 38 mins Muzzy Izzet brings Leicester back into contention against Bradford, firing home from the penalty spot. Leicester 1-2 Bradford 36 mins Titus Bramble has a goal disallowed for Ipswich as he is adjudged to have handled the ball into the Sunderland net. 30 mins Wayne Jacobs puts Bradford two up with a free kick which goes through the legs of Leicester keeper Tim Flowers. Sunderland 1-1 Ipswich 20 mins Deon Burton fires Derby ahead against Everton, slotting home after Malcolm Christie had dummied a Stefano Eranio cross. 19 minsTrond Egil Soltvedt levels for Southampton as he fires home unmarked at the far post.
