Shrewsbury 2-1 Barnet

Two goalkeeping errors by Barnet's Jake Cole gifted Shrewsbury a win despite a late rally from the Bees.

The Bees keeper had made a fantastic point-blank save from Matt Harrold's header, but then dropped a routine stop to give Craig Disley an easy tap-in.

Cole was then slow to react to Jack Robinson's ball, giving Harrold time to turn and fire home from close range.

Barnet clawed a goal back when Jordan Parkes finished off a flowing move, but the Shrews held on for the win.

Shrewsbury manager Graham Turner told BBC Radio Shropshire:
"Having taken the two-goal lead, it was important that we got the next goal, 3-0 and it's a good afternoon.

"We had a lot of opportunities, but we missed the chances and almost paid the penalty for that.

"To be fair to Barnet, they had a real go at us in the last 15 minutes and it was a little bit hairy.

"We're not flowing like we were early season. Teams have taken a look at us and come here well organised, but we really should have killed Barnet off with the breaks we had."
