Accrington Stanley 2-4 Cheltenham

Two goals from Jeff Goulding helped Cheltenham Town claim a victory over Accrington and move into the play-offs.

The Robins went in front when Brian Smikle drilled a low shot past Alex Cisak, before Goulding made it 2-0, finishing well after a Smikle flick-on.

Terry Gornell poked home to pull a goal back, but Goulding restored the two-goal advantage with a placed finish.

Robin Shroot's effort from 10 yards settled it, despite a consolation Phil Edwards penalty for Accrington late on.

Cheltenham Town boss Mark Yates told BBC Radio Gloucestershire:
"The game should have been over at half-time, we created seven or eight good chances and scored a couple.

"I got the effort and commitment I normally get off the players and they should be very happy with their performances today.

"They had nothing to lose and they really came for us in the second half but we stood up to them and then put the game to bed with two goals."
