Bournemouth 1-2 Bury

Bury lifted themselves into the League Two play-off places with a win at Bournemouth, courtesy of goals from Stephen Dawson and David Worrall.

Dawson put the visitors ahead after nine minutes, latching on to Andy Morrell's pass and slotting home.

Six minutes before half time they doubled their lead when Worrall cut inside and fired in at the near post.

Bournemouth substitute Steve Fletcher had a goal disallowed before Brett Pitman grabbed a late consolation.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe told BBC Radio Solent:

"We didn't really hurt them enough. But there are a lot of positives we can take.

"We were much better with controlled possession. We looked back to our old selves at points."
