Jason Dodd's first game in charge of Aldershot went from dream to disaster as Bury came from behind to win.

Dave Winfield scored with a tap-in but Marvin Morgan missed a chance to make it 2-0 when his penalty was saved.

Brian Barry-Murphy's deflected free-kick brought Bury level but Louie Soares put the home side back in front.

Dawson levelled again for the visitors with a close-range shot and Efe Sodje headed in the winner from Barry-Murphy's cross only two minutes later.

Aldershot caretaker boss Jason Dodd told BBC Surrey:

"We can't fault the boys, they worked very hard. They're in the dressing room now and are very disappointed.

"The disappointing thing from our point of view is that they were three poor goals that we conceded."
