John Johnson's late header snatched a point for Northampton against Bradford.

After a goalless first half, City, who are now unbeaten in nine games, took the lead courtesy of Simon Ramsden's deflected effort from 18 yards.

Michael Boulding doubled the Bantams lead, converting Lee Bullock's knock-down from Jonathan Bateson's cross.

Steve Guinan's header hit a post but Alex Dyer reduced the arrears after being set up by Andy Holt and Johnson nodded in Ryan Gilligan's free-kick.

Northampton Town caretaker manager Ian Sampson tells BBC Radio Northampton:

"I was pleased with the character. To be 2-0 down is a kick in the teeth but they responded well.

"Didn't deal very well with a cross for a second (goal) well, but they deserved a draw in the end. The more we work on the defence, the more it'll improve. We work on things every day and try to get the best out of them."

Bradford City boss Stuart McCall told BBC Radio Leeds:

"After the first 15 minutes we felt we bossed the game.

"We were comfortable at 2-0 up, but fair play to Northampton having a go at as and coming back.

"But it is very disappointing and I think we must have conceded a record number of free-kicks in the game.

"We are still on a good unbeaten run, we've scored two goals away from home, so there are many positives."
