Bradford extended their unbeaten run to seven matches with a victory over Chesterfield at Valley Parade.

Michael Flynn put the home side ahead with a right-foot shot from 15 yards after cutting in from the left.

The Bantams added their second via a swift counter, Scott Neilson finishing a move that had begun with keeper Simon Eastwood making a save.

Substitute Chris Brandon got Bradford's third goal, firing into the unguarded net from 10 yards out.

Chesterfield boss John Sheridan told BBC Radio Sheffield:

"We got to get the hoodoo away from home sorted out. Whether the players are expecting to lose I don't know.

"I've said it before and I'll say it again, mentally we are not strong enough away from home.

"Up until the second goal we were the better team. The second goal has killed us."
