Aldershot ended Cheltenham's unbeaten away record with a fine home display.

David Winfield headed in the opening goal before the Robins equalised from the spot when Justin Richards scoring after Elvis Hammond was fouled.

But the home side were back in front six minutes later when Anthony Charles converted a rebound.

Marvin Morgan added the third, rounding the keeper after Drissa Diallo's effort before Scott Donnelly scored with a 45-yard shot in stoppage time.

Aldershot boss Gary Waddock told BBC Surrey:

"We played extremely well today, we wanted to back the result we got at Crewe with another three points if we possibly could.

"We wanted to play better than we did last week and the performance today was extremely pleasing."

Cheltenham Town boss Martin Allen told BBC Gloucestershire:

"They let themselves down, they let our club down, and our players are better than that.

"I don't want to be changing the formation after 10 minutes and I don't want to be making all those changes at half-time.

"The first half was not as good as we can play - it was very average."
