Rochdale staged a thrilling second-half comeback to deny Morecambe their first win of the season.

Sammy McIlroy's men cruised into a 3-0 lead, thanks to two goals from Phil Jevons and one from Ian Craney.

Chris Dagnall gave Rochdale a lifeline with a low finish after 48 minutes and Joe Thompson's header made it 3-2.

Dale Stephens equalised with a long-range strike in the 76th minute to set up a dramatic finale, in which both sides missed chances to win the game.
