Darlington ended their goal drought and won their first point of the season thanks to Kevin Gall's strike which denied Cheltenham victory.

The Robins gained the advantage in the first half when Justin Richards tapped home at the far post after Marley Watkins opened up the defence.

With 20 minutes remaining, Gall found space to smack in a low right-foot shot into the corner from 15 yards.

Darlington almost grabbed a winner but David Dowson missed in front of goal.
