Burton handed tricky opening game

Paul Peschisolido's first game in charge of Burton will be at Shrewsbury

Burton's first Football League campaign begins with a trip to last season's beaten League Two play-off finalists Shrewsbury on Saturday, 8 August.

Torquay, who were also promoted from the Blue Square Premier, have been given a home game against Chesterfield.

Relegated sides Cheltenham, Crewe and Northampton host Grimsby, Dagenham & Redbridge and Macclesfield respectively while Hereford go to Morecambe.

Notts County host Bradford in a reverse of last season's opening day fixture.

Elsewhere, Bury and Rochdale, who lost in the play-off semi-finals, play Bournemouth and Port Vale respectively.
