Luton 1-0 Macclesfield

A controversial penalty from Tom Craddock was enough to hand Luton the win over Macclesfield and continue their late bid to beat the drop.

Both sides hit the woodwork early on, Nat Brown volleying against the bar for the visitors before Jon Brain punched onto his own bar at the other end.

But the crucial moment came on 68 minutes when referee Andy Hall ruled Jordan Hadfield had fouled Asa Hall.

Craddock dispatched the spot-kick and Luton are now 11 points from safety.
