Notts County 4-2 Port Vale

Jamie Forrester scored a second-half hat-trick as Notts County defeated Port Vale in a thrilling match.

Josh Lillis made three excellent saves for Notts County before Myles Weston beat two players and shot home.

Simon Richman levelled for Vale before Forrester, who had already hit the bar, struck with a curling effort and then finished after a Delroy Facey assist.

Louis Dodds pulled a goal back with a header but Gareth Owen fouled Facey and Forrester converted the penalty.


Notts County: Lillis, Picken, Edwards, Johnson, Clapham, Hamshaw (Fairclough 85), Thompson, Nowland, Weston, Forrester (Wedderburn 83), Facey. Subs Not Used: Tann, Canham, Hunt.
