Luton 3-3 Bournemouth

Bournemouth finally reached zero points after a six-goal thriller against fellow League Two strugglers Luton.

The Hatters went ahead when Ryan Garry sliced Lewis Emanuel's cross into his own net, but Bournemouth hit back as Mark Molesley fired past Conrad Logan.

Lee Bradbury then fed Molesley to put the visitors 2-1 up before Kevin Gallen rifled in a 20-yard free-kick to level.

Matt Tubbs' glancing header made it 3-2 to the Cherries but Luton levelled when Paul McVeigh slammed in a late penalty.

Both sides had begun the season on minus points after suffering deductions for breaching the Football League's insolvency policy.

Bournemouth manager Jimmy Quinn told BBC Radio Solent:

"We should have won the game, it's as simple as that. We gave bad goals away again but there were a lot of good performances out there."

"I'm delighted the way we bounced back after the early setback with the goal.

"Two great goals from Mark Molesley who was brilliant again. Having got the third goal we should have come away with all three points."

Luton manager Mick Harford told BBC Three Counties Radio:

"Very disappointing and I understand the fans frustration. I was frustrated in the changing room at half-time and I made the players aware of that.

"The last 35 minutes we were very good, and we looked like the only team that were going to go and win it.

"We got ourselves into a position to win the game, but we went and let ourselves down at the other end."
