Rochdale 2-0 Luton

Rochdale moved up to third place in League Two after goals from Lee Thorpe and Adam Le Fondre gave them a comfortable win over Luton.

Thorpe struck after just two minutes when he headed home Scott Wiseman's cross at the near post.

Le Fondre settled the game on the hour mark, dispatching a penalty awarded for Ian Roper's foul on Rory McArdle.

Luton's best chance came with 12 minutes left, but Dean Talbot's header brought a sharp save from Sam Russell.
