Port Vale 0-3 Brentford

Brentford swept past Port Vale as the hosts were reduced to 10 men.

A dull first half came to life when Ross Davidson was sent off for a late and high tackle on Karleigh Osbourne.

Vale fans showed their displeasure when Osbourne smashed in Glenn Poole's corner on the stroke of half-time and the home side soon raised their game.

But Brentford quashed Port Vale when Marcus Bean headed in another Poole corner before Charlie MacDonald blasted home after Adam Newton's brilliant run.
