Goals from Paul Mullin and Terry Gornell gave Accrington Stanley victory from their first competitive game with Luton, who remain bottom of League Two.
The visitors went ahead as James Ryan collected Harry Worley's loose header and crossed for Paul Mullin to convert.
Luton drew level when Jake Howells crossed for Asa Hall to net with a hooked volley from 20 yards.
But Gornell fired home from six yards after Paul Mullin had nodded down John Mullin's free-kick to seal the win.
