Port Vale 3-1 Bournemouth

Port Vale cruised to a comfortable win at home against Bournemouth.

The home side controlled most of the opening exchanges and took the lead when Marc Richards struck with a 20-yard effort.

Bournemouth levelled after Craig Lindfield headed his first goal for the club from Lee Bradbury's cross.

Simon Richman nodded in a second for Port Vale before John McCombe confirmed the win after Louis Dodds had done well to cross from the by-line.
