Lincoln City 0-1 Stockport

David Poole's 68th-minute strike saw Stockport edge a hard-fought game and gain their eighth consecutive away win.

Poole shot home through a crowd of players after Lincoln failed to clear a corner.

Lincoln failed to create a single chance in the opening half, and their keeper Alan Marriott kept them in the game with a string of fine saves.

The hosts should have gone in front in the 49th minute when the unmarked Danny Hone headed wide inside the box.
