Notts County and Barnet moved closer to safety as they were forced to settle for a point each in a goalless draw.

Barnet lost keeper Rob Beckwith to injury after 34 minutes, neither he nor sub Lee Harrison was troubled.

Ryan Jarvis threatened for the Magpies in a rare foray forward early on but Barnet had the better chances.

Adam Birchall was twice denied by the County keeper Russell Hoult, and Cliff Akurang and Ismail Yakubu failed to hit the target when well-placed.
