Grimsby 1-4 Dag & Red

Dagenham & Redbridge followed up their 6-2 midweek win with another impressive performance to beat in-form Grimsby.

Ross Smith's header gave the visitors the lead and Dave Rainford made it 2-0 with a penalty after Jamie Clarke had impeded Ben Strevens in the box.

Dagenham's Scott Griffiths headed a Nick Fenton header off the line, but a Strevens solo goal made it three.

Rainford nodded home his second from a corner, before Gary Jones grabbed a consolation with a left-footed shot.
